A New Fellowship for Healing, Support, and Recovery

Weekly TTF Support Meetings – Every Thursday at 1pm

At Get SAFE (Support After Financial Exploitation), we know that financial harm doesn’t end with money. It reaches into identity, trust, mental health, relationships, and a person’s sense of safety in the world.

That is why we want to share an important new support initiative launched by the Transparency Task Force — a weekly Fellowship group for people whose lives have been profoundly impacted by financial exploitation, regulatory failure, or the personal cost of speaking truth to power.

Who This Fellowship Is For

This group exists for people who have been negatively affected by their life experiences, including:

  • Individuals who have suffered significant financial hardship as a result offinancial crime, exploitation, or catastrophic regulatory failure

  • Whistleblowers whose wellbeing, livelihoods, or personal lives have been harmedby standing up for truth and integrity

Many participants carry invisible wounds: betrayal, shame, fear, anxiety, grief, and a loss of trust in systems that were meant to protect them. This Fellowship exists to ensure they do not carry that burden alone.

The Purpose of the Fellowship

The Fellowship is a peer-led, trauma-informed support space with a shared purpose:

  • To share lived experience, insight, and understanding

  • To provide encouragement, compassion, and mutual support

  • To support mental and emotional wellbeing following psychological harm

  • To advance learning that enables informed decisions about future financial security

  • To promote human and social rights, including fair treatment and access to justice

This is not a place for advice-giving, fixing, or judgement. It is a place to be heard, understood, and supported.

How the Fellowship Works

  • Weekly Zoom meetings

  • Every Thursday

  • 1:00pm UK time

  • Duration: 1 hour

  • Attendance is flexible — come when you can, no pressure to attend every session

The group is grounded in clear principles:

  • Confidentiality and psychological safety

  • Respectful listening (no cross-talk during sharing)

  • Equality of voice

  • Compassion, dignity, and boundaries

The Fellowship is designed to evolve organically, becoming self-organising and self-governing over time, shaped by the needs of those who attend.

A Safe Space to Heal

Many people affected by financial harm describe a deep sense of betrayal — not just by individuals, but by institutions, regulators, and systems that were meant to offer protection and justice.

This can lead to:

  • Loss of trust in authority and process

  • Feelings of shame or misplaced guilt

  • Stress, anxiety, depression, and physical health impacts

  • A fractured sense of identity and self-worth

In this Fellowship, participants discover something vital:

You are not alone. You are not to blame. And healing is possible.

By sharing experience, strength, and hope, members begin to rebuild a sense of self, restore dignity, and find steadier ground for the future.

No Fees. No Agenda. Just Support.

There are:

  • No dues or fees

  • No political, commercial, or institutional alignment

  • No obligation beyond a genuine desire to heal and recover

The Fellowship exists purely for mutual support and wellbeing.

How to Apply

To protect the safety and integrity of the space, anyone wishing to join is asked to complete a short suitability questionnaire.
